Sadly summer is coming to an end. What a bummer. We have had a fun summer. It has been a busy one, with lots of visitors, completed projects, sugar galore, bounce houses, swimming pools, splash parks, vacations, video games (of course), trips to the park, lots of books, games, swimming lessons, gymnastics classes, dancing, baking, eating (a lot), had a girls day to make strawberry jam (fabulous day), made homemade ice cream, homemade chips and hummus (delicious), sampled a vegan restaurant and loved it, celebrated a major graduation (congratulations Mark), experienced lots and lots of sweating and very little exposure to the sun which means we are all about as white as we were in the winter. It has been wonderful and I am sad to say good-bye to summer. Mostly because my little guy will be starting school and that makes me sad a little, or a lot actually. I wish I had just a little bit more time. Five years have flown by too quickly. When they are little, five years seems like forever, but in the blink of an eye it passes you by and you long for a little bit more time with your little person. Tonight we will meet his teacher (wish us luck) and say lots of prayers for an easy Monday.

| Completed tooth fairy pillows. Went ahead and made two as to not hurt the little lady's feelings even though we are no where near losing teeth. Well, that is if she can keep from jumping off of things and knocking her teeth out before it is time. |
