Morning Walk

When it is 77 degrees in June at 10 am you need to get outside.  It seems that we have been indoors a lot lately so this morning when it was nice out AND there was a pleasant breeze the three of us decided to head out for a morning walk.  We had such a nice time.  No bicycles, tricycles or scooters.  Just a good old fashioned walk.  

Julia gathering rocks "for Granddaddy's birthday."  His birthday is in January.  Hey, she is planning ahead.  

Storing those same rocks in her pocket, later to be found by me or by the washing machine.

And more walking backwards.  He actually did this for about half of our walk and we walked the entire neighborhood.  

Now, he has decided to channel his favorite food network chef Guy Fieri (yes, this is true)

This is what I heard, "ow, she hurting me."  It just looks like a hug to me, but I bet she was pinching his back or something.  

She pretended that these were pumpkin trees.  Yes, trees.

"A gift for you Jack."  Yep, a dead tree branch.  

He looks like a man on a mission.  That mission was to get home and have a popsicle.   

Very nice morning indeed.  Now, off to finish a patriotic wreath and plan for this Sundays canning party.  More on both of those later.
